A long-awaited Mountain House taste test video: Pad Thai with Chicken, 100% freeze dried food with a 30-year shelf life, available in a 2-serving pouch.
We were REALLY looking forward to this new Mountain House entree as we've seen several reviews about it. Unfortunately, we came away a bit disappointed. It seemed to lack that traditional "Thai flavor" (lemongrass, coconut milk, peanut sauce) but we were very happy that all the ingredients reconstituted so nicely. For Janet, it's a 3 to 3-1/2 star dish, Bryan gave it 3-1/2 to 4 stars. So all-in-all, we give the Mountain House Pad Thai 3-1/2 stars (rounded up to 4).

All Mountain House products have a guaranteed 30-year shelf life when stored unopened in a cool area below 75°F. Mountain House freeze dried foods are recommended for emergency food supplies because of their long storage/shelf life.
