IMPORTANT NOTICE: Beware of Porch Pirates!
If the shipping carrier has issued a confirmed delivery, we are not responsible for any refunds or shipping claims. We are happy to add Signature Required for all orders but that will result in an additional carrier fee. Please make a note in your Shipping Instructions at checkout if you would like us to add Signature Required for your order and we will contact you with the additional shipping fee.
Shipment of Orders
- Most orders are shipped within 1–2 full business days of order submission (excluding weekends/holidays). If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional time in transit for delivery.
- If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
- Local Pick Up: Our pick-up location is not a retail store — all orders must be placed in advance. Select the Pick Up option at checkout.
- We do not ship to Canada, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, to any U.S. territories, or to any international destinations. We do not ship to freight forwarding companies or bill to customer carrier accounts.
- We are currently unable to ship to the state of Vermont due to state's Economic Nexus Sales Tax Laws and/or Notice & Reporting Requirement Laws. Although we have not met the state's sales tax threshold requirements (we are not required to collect sales tax), states with Notice & Reporting Requirement Laws stipulating that online retailers must comply and report customer information and purchase details even if we are not required to collect sales tax. We believe that reporting to these states where we do not have a physical presence would be in direct violation to our commitment to customer privacy and our published Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to suspend orders for shipment to the above-mentioned states until further notice.
- We apologize, but we are unable to ship collect, and we no longer ship on third party shipping accounts.
Shipping Costs & Options
Shipping charges are non-refundable. Online calculated shipping costs are based on service from our location in Eugene, Oregon, to your delivery location ZIP Code (U.S. locations only).
- UPS Ground and USPS Postal Service: We offer UPS Ground on all orders. On orders less than $100, we offer USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail, USPS Priority Mail and USPS Ground Advantage shipping options. We cannot ship via USPS First Class due to the 13 oz weight limit.
- Restricted Products: Some products are not eligible to ship via UPS or via US Postal Service due to FAA regulations and the shipping carrier guidelines (i.e., MRE Heaters, Fuel Gel, matches, and similar items). These items, however, are available for pick up at our Eugene, Oregon warehouse.
- Heavy Shipments: Orders/shipments weighing over 200 lbs may qualify for a lower shipping cost, and may ship be able to ship by freight (shipping carrier of our choice).

Why we don't offer standard free shipping like the bigger retailers online? Epicenter Supplies LLC is a small, family-owned business, and we don't have the massive volumes to offer free shipping on our products. We do our very best to offset shipping charges by keeping our product prices extremely low. Plus, we are extremely dedicated to providing you with outstanding, friendly customer service.
When you compare our product prices + shipping charges with other online preparedness vendors, you will find that our overall order total costs are very competitive, often times less than you will find elsewhere, even with the current price of shipping charges.
Special Shipping Instructions
We always do our best to accommodate requests for special shipping instructions.
Please understand that requesting "no signature required" (and similar) instructions releases all liability from TheEpicenter.com and the shipping carrier for any loss or damage to the package at delivery. In addition, UPS and USPS drivers may leave your package(s) at your doorstep at their discretion. This is considered a Confirmed Delivery. If you will not be home to accept delivery, we recommend you sign up for UPS or USPS delivery options (see Delivery Options, below). You may also request Signature Required for delivery.
Signature Required fees for orders are NOT INCLUDED in our online shipping quote. Such requests will result in an additional charge per box which must be paid prior to shipping.
Shipping Confirmation Emails
TheEpicenter.com will send you a shipping confirmation email on the day your order ships. The email will include the following information:
- Shipping delivery address
- Tracking number(s)
- Shipment date
- Estimated delivery date
- Number of packages in your shipment
If you do not receive delivery of your order by the expected delivery date, please click on the tracking # provided in your shipping confirmation email to determine the reason for delay in delivery. (See Delivery Delays, below).
Shipping Methods & Transit Times
We use UPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail, USPS Flat Rate, and USPS Ground Advantage as our standard shipping methods.
We also offer Local Customer Curbside Pick Up at our Eugene, Oregon warehouse.
Please allow 1–2 full business days to ship your order (excluding weekends and observed holidays), plus additional time in transit for delivery.
Note: Shipments for large orders (over 200 lbs.) may qualify to ship by freight and/or lower shipping costs. Shipping transit times and delivery times will vary on freight shipments. These shipments are typically palletized and may require optional services as appropriate (trailer lift gate, delivery to door, inside delivery, gated/security delivery locations, etc.). Should we find a lower shipping cost for your order or find it necessary to ship your order by a freight carrier, we will contact you with shipping details prior to capturing final payment for your order.
UPS
UPS does not deliver to a PO Box — a physical delivery address is required for all UPS shipments.
Transit times are typically 2–6 business days (excludes Sundays and observed holidays) for UPS Ground shipments. Please allow at least 5-7 days for delivery of your order.
The only guaranteed UPS shipping methods are UPS Next Day and UPS Second Day. If you need faster than UPS Ground transit times, please call us to place your order, or make a note in "special delivery" instructions during checkout with your online order and we will contact you with a revised shipping quote.
Once an order leaves our warehouse, we have no control on how long the carrier will take for delivery. See Delivery Delays below.
UPS now has Saturday Delivery to SOME metro areas — Check with your local UPS Customer Service Center to see if your address is eligible for Saturday delivery (Current Zip Codes for UPS Ground on Saturday).
US POSTAL SERVICE (USPS)
Please allow at least 1–2 full business days to ship orders by US Postal Service (excludes weekends and observed holidays), and allow additional time in transit for delivery.
Transit times are typically 1–3 business days for USPS Priority Mail packages (Priority, Flat Rate Boxes Priority), and 2–15 business days for USPS Ground Advantage shipments. However, once an order is picked up at our warehouse by the US Postal Service, we have no control on how long the carrier will take for delivery. See Delivery Delays below.
Delivery Delays
Once an order has shipped and is in transit, the package(s) is no longer in our control. Delivery delays can occasionally occur. The most common reasons for delivery delays are:
WEATHER RELATED CONDITIONS
Weather and other conditions beyond the shipping carrier's control may cause a delay in delivery of your order. Contact us if you have any questions regarding current delivery exceptions in your area, or check with the carriers directly:
INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESSES
Submitting an incorrect shipping address with your order may delay delivery of your order and will likely result in additional fees or unrefundable order.
- UPS Shipments: An Address Correction Fee based on current UPS Fee for Daily Rates will be charged for each package in the shipment.
- U.S. Postal Service Shipments: Incorrect addresses not corrected prior to shipment will result in a completely NON REFUNDABLE order.
The most common mistakes made when providing us with shipping address are an incorrect zip code, wrong street number, missing apartment/suite number, and/or missing company name. In all fairness, any fees billed to us by the shipping carrier for an address correction or delivery change after the order ships will be billed to you.
To help prevent or avoid order delivery delays, additional fees, or non-refundable orders, please double check the shipping address prior to submitting your order.

UPS Shipments

U.S. Postal Service Shipments
My USPS℠ is a dashboard that displays the status of your incoming USPS packages and allows you to manage your packages in case you can't be home to accept delivery (online delivery authorization, redelivery instructions). For more information and to sign up, visit My USPS today.
Order Delivery
Please inspect your order upon receipt and notify us immediately if you notice a problem with your order so we can promptly make any needed corrections.
Order errors reported within 14 days of the delivery date will be corrected with no questions asked; order errors reported beyond 14 days of the delivery date will be reviewed on a case by case basis. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for additional information.
Undeliverable or Refused Orders
Orders with an undeliverable address or a refused delivery are subject to additional charges. See our Returns & Refunds Policy (Refused/Undeliverable Orders).
- UPS makes up to three delivery attempts. After three attempts to deliver are unsuccessful, and if no alternate delivery arrangements have been made with UPS by the receiver at the delivery address, the shipment will be returned to us and therefore considered a Refused/Undeliverable order.
- USPS will leave a card saying they attempted delivery. Arrangements can be made for redelivery or pick up package(s) at your local post office. The post office will return the shipment if they cannot deliver within 7 days.
