MRE STAR Meals Shelf Life and Storage Tips
All MRE STAR meals meet or exceed the military specifications for shelf life in the MRE industry. The stated Best By Date is three years after production date when stored at 80°F; however the shelf life of these meals typically average 5–7 years or more when stored at or below 60°F (above freezing). Please note that shelf life life may vary based on storage conditions.
