Twelve (12) complete, individually packaged meals ready to eat, including entree heater. These meals are nutritionally completes meal rations containing 1,100–1,300 calories. An MRE requires no water to reconstitute the meal. It truly is ready to eat, hot or cold. Only the finest ingredients are used in the preparation of MRE STAR meals. A pharmaceutical grade nutritional mix is added to every MRE STAR entree produced to further increase the nutritional profile.

* All MRESTAR meals meet or exceed the military specifications for shelf life in the MRE industry. The stated Best By Date is three years after production date; however the shelf life of these meals typically average 5–7 years when stored at or below 60°F (above freezing). Shelf life depends on storage conditions.

- Snack (Nut Raisin Mix, Dried Fruit Mix, Toasted Corn Nuts, or other)
- Dessert (Sugar Cookies, Oatmeal Cookies, or other)
- Fruit Flavored Powdered Drink Mix (Orange, Lemonade, Pink Lemonade, Grape, Strawberry, or Fruit Punch)
- Accessory Pack (Spoon, Napkin, Wet Nap, Candy, Instant Coffee, Non-Dairy Creamer, Sugar, Hot Pepper Flakes, Salt, Pepper)
- Flameless Ration Heater (FRH)
Each individually packaged meal kit has an average of 1,100–1,300 calories per meal.
These Civilian MREs are manufactured in the U.S.A. and the meals are USDA/FSIS/FDA/FSSC 22000 approved.
