We love freeze dried ice cream! In this video, we show how to Freeze Dry Ice Cream Sandwiches in our home freeze dryer. The brand we used was "First Street" Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches with Chocolate Wafers.
We had a guest in the building on taste test day, and he tried out the freeze dried ice cream sandwiches as well. Joe was also invited to have freeze-dried shrimp salad with us that day, but he needed to run around and get parts for our sprinkler system and he forgot about lunch. Guess the Ice Cream filled him up!
In our review, we thought the flavor of the ice cream sandwich cookie crust overpowered the ice cream. But all in all, we were happy with the results!
