In this video, we used the FireBox Stove and the optional grilling grate attachment to cook steaks on the beach. Filmed on the island of Molokai's West End at Dixie Maru Beach (Kapukahehu Beach) on the island of Molokai in August 2012.
We used briquets initially, but we found an abundant supply of Kiawe (a Hawaiian mesquite) and used it for smoke flavor while grilling and also as a fuel for the stove. At the end of the evening, we used the FireBox Folding Stove as a camp fire.
...what's better than dinner on the beach, a beautiful Hawaiian sunset, and another fabulous day at another great beach?!?!
