Review of the QuickStove Portable Emergency Camp Stove

10 Aug, 2012

In this video, we review the QuickStove Portable Emergency Camp Stove to make a Hawaiian egg scramble on a remote beach on the Big Island of Hawaii. This video was shot at Kekaha Kai State Park at Mahai'ula Bay. The remote beach is accessible via an unimproved road over a lava field. The road is best suited for access by 4-wheel drive vehicle.

We were impressed by how quickly the QuickStove fuel started to burn. As it turns out, Bryan was wrong about the expected burn time for the fuel. We did contact the manufacturer and they say the fuel lasts for about 1/2 hour which is in line with what we saw. It still produced useful heat for about 45 minutes.

N/A**UPDATE** We no longer offer the QuickStove in our inventory. However, this great little stove is available for purchase at Amazon. To check on price and availability, please visit the Quick Stove - Cube Stove with 2 Fuel Disks page @ Amazon.com.
