TheEpicenter crew has been eagerly anticipating a taste test review of the Mountain House Homestyle Chicken Noodle Casserole. This entree was originally released in February 2016 and has a 30+ year shelf life.
This new entree may have immediately become the new favorite for us here at TheEpicenter.com. Even Jenny loved this new entree! This new Mountain House entree is right up there with the Beef Stroganoff with Noodles and the Turkey Tetrazzini on our list of "go-to" Mountain House products.
**UPDATE** The Mountain House Homestyle Chicken Noodle Casserole is still available, but in the new Adventure Meal packaging (2 Servings vs the 3-serving pouch reviewed in our taste test video); it is also currently available in #10 Cans and Pro-Paks as well.
We thought this entree was similar to the Mountain House Noodles & Chicken (phased out and no longer available), but with a lot more flavor. This is a very tasty dish with a generous amount of chicken, noodles, mushrooms, celery, green peppers, and pimientos in a rich cream sauce. Yumm-O!!
