Review Mountain House Freeze Dried Boneless Pork Loin Chops

04 Jul, 2018

TheEpicenter was fortunate to procure a limited quantity of 2018 Contract Overrun of Mountain House Freeze Dried Boneless Pork Loin Pieces in a #10 Can. Check out our review:

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of these pork loin pieces. They rehydrated very well, but we may have overcooked them in the pressure cooker. ;)

The last time we had these was in 2010, so they are very rare. We don't expect these to remain in inventory long, so get them while you can. Our price is unbeatable for this 2018 production run!

UPDATE: The Mountain House Freeze Dried Uncooked Pork Chop Pieces have sold out and are no longer available.

These are uncooked pork loin pieces, and must be cooked prior to consumption. They are freeze dried in raw form and should be handled/treated like you would any raw pork meat. NOTE: Freeze drying is not the same as "curing" or dehydrating. Bacteria can survive the freeze drying process.

All Mountain House products (except for Military production overrun pouches and ice creams) have a guaranteed 30-year shelf life when stored unopened in a cool area below 75°F. Mountain House freeze dried foods in #10 cans are highly recommended for emergency food supplies.
