In this taste test, we tried the Augason Farms Creamy Potato Soup Mix.
In an odd twist, Janet requested that no one say anything as they tried it. The facial expressions tell the story.
The short version: This was GOOOOOOD!
As an added note, we had an open (partially used can) of Creamy Potato Soup Mix sitting in the cupboard (sealed with the plastic lid) for almost a year...it had been pushed back behind some other items so we had forgotten it was there. To our surprise, when we took of the plastic lid, the dry soup mix smelled exactly like we had remembered. It was not rancid or "off" at all, and when we rehydrated it it was just as tasty as when we first opened it! And nobody had any ill effects at all. (Note: This previously opened can, sealed with the plastic lid, was stored in a cool, dry area at about 65-70 degrees).
