A free, easy way to recycle used Mountain House pouches and other recyclable items!
Mountain House has partnered with TerraCycle to create a free recycling program for Mountain House pouches. It's so easy to do! Simply sign up on TerraCycle's program page and then mail-in the empty Mountain House packaging using a prepaid shipping label. TerraCycle will clean and process the empty Mountain House pouches into a rigid plastic that can be molded into new recycled products.
BONUS! For every pound of material shipped to TerraCycle, collectors can earn $1 to donate to a nonprofit, school or charitable organization of their choice. TerraCycle's Recycling Program is open to any interested individual, school, office, or community organization.
TerraCycle offers a number of other free recycling programs as well, including hard-to-recycle waste streams too! Things like cigaratte waste, electronics, fabric care, personal care, razors, and so much more. Zero-Waste Box and Regulated Waste Recycling programs are also available.
