It's rare for us to have any leftover grilled chicken, but we did — so we freeze dried it! Bryan's famous Huli-Huli Chicken in our Harvest Right Home Freeze Dryer.
The chicken thighs were marinated in our favorite Huli-Huli Sauce for a day or two, grilled to perfection, and then taste tested by John, Jenny, and Bryan. What was leftover was cooled, sliced, and freeze dried (filled one tray).
A few days later, we rehydrated the Freeze Dried Huli Huli Chicken and combined it with some Penne Pasta with Alfredo Sauce. Although we all really dig the marinated chicken by itself right off the grill, it was pretty good combined with the pasta and Alfredo sauce.
This is our favorite "secret sauce" marinade: Hawaii's Famous Huli-Huli Sauce. It's da best!!!
