Because we really like the Mountain House Biscuits & Gravy, we decided to try and make our own Freeze Dried Biscuits & Gravy in our Harvest Right Home Freeze Dryer.
We used a #10 can of Chef-mate Country Sausage Gravy, and paired it with a dozen Bridgford Foods Sliced Buttermilk Biscuits.
We used one cup of Chef-mate per Biscuit. Each tray held 4 cups of the Sausage Gravy and 4 Bridgford Biscuits.
Success! It turned out awesome! (But we couldn't get Jenny to even give it a taste). If you have a home freeze dryer you will love how this turns out...give it a try!
