About MREs
MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) are packaged and designed to provide energy and nutrition for on-the-go situations, making them an excellent choice for emergency food kits. They can also be enjoyed while camping, hiking, hunting, backpacking, picnicking, RVing, or traveling.
The shelf life of MREs primarily depends upon the temperature at which they are stored. If stored at 80°F, they will last a minimum of 36 months. The lower the storage temperature, the longer the shelf life. Note: MREs do not have an Expiration Date printed on the packaging.
