No cooking required - it can be eaten cold, but we recommend heating the pizza in the pouch in an MRE Flameless Ration Heater or in hot water for 5-10 minutes. Or remove the pizza from the pouch and place it in the oven on a cookie sheet or pizza stone for 6-7 minutes (get that desired crispiness on the crust!). It's microwavable too ... about 20 seconds in the microwave for a delicious warm slice of pizza.
